Water is also protected from contamination by rust or corrosion with a powder-coat finish, applied through the process of E-coat immersion. By using electrical currents, an even coat of paint completely covers both the inside and outside of the bottle filling station. Further heating strengthens the bonds between the paint molecules, and prevents any paint or metal from rusting or flaking off into the waterways.

The LK4400BF's access panel is formed of heavy gauge steel, and attached with anti-vandal screws. These extra security measures prevent any unauthorised tampering from vandals while also contributing to the physical sturdiness that makes the LK4400BF stand out from many of its competitors
